This is by far the best 40g hard drive ever it is very speedy and has never given me a proublem I have over 1000 mp3s, the full Microsoft office, several large games and two opperating systems, I still have over 52% free space! this is one of the only part of my computer that has not given me trouble I would recomed this drive to anybody who want to upgrade from a 20g or below, those are getting two small with todays large files.
