BEST UPGRADE EVER!!!

I highly suggest this upgrade, I love it to death. Shipped good, came on time. Didn't have any problems putting together stand. Stand seems sturdy enough to me, it never bounces around and my desk is even on wheels. Running with two 7600GTs in SLI and it looks great. Resolution was recognized without any trouble. Great monitor for my money. Nice and wide, didn't think it would be this big, but its just as tall as my 17' was and much wider!! This is the best upgrade I've ever made, I have no regrets for going with 19' widescreen.
It had one stuck pixel when I got it. Stuck, not dead. You could only see it when the screen was black, it was stuck on blue. But it was quickly fixed and everything looked prefect.
Stuck pixel - I fixed it myself by turning off the monitor and pressing directly on the pixel with a dry cloth, then turning the monitor back on. Everything is perfect now.

no ghosting; 5ms response time, 1440x900 is great; very large compared to my old 17" crt. would definately buy from acer again
gonna have to start getting used to 16:10 ratio, because i'm never going back to 4:3 :D

Excellent Monitor for an Excellent Price

This monitor is an excellent product for an excellent price. The picture is crisp and bright. Games look beautiful. Text is clear. Movies are fantastic. What a great alternative to the more pricey monitors on the market.
The stand is immovable, but for me, that's not a major issue. If the monitor needs to point another direction, I just move the entire base. The resolution is 1440 by 900. This is fine for me, but some may find they'd like a bit higher resolution. All-in-all...there are no major points against this thing. Buy it now.

Excellent Monitor

For the price, you can't beat this monitor. Acer has produced a very clear, crisp wide-screen LCD monitor that is only 1 inch shorter than Apple's 20-inch cinema display and less than a third of the price. Monitor gurus might nitpick about the resolution in comparison to alternatives offered by Apple or Dell, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better monitor than this with the same price tag.

Crystal clear, 0 dead pixels, very happy with the way the monitor looks and feels. Watching movies on this while doing work on a 17" is really nice!
Buy one! The extra $100 isn't worth the 20.1"!
