Great Case for a Good Price
Reviewed by: Newt40
THis is by far, for the money, one of the BEST quality cases that I have ever owned. The power supply that comes with isn't much to speak of, but, the case , itself, is roomy, well-built from at least .07MM steel, and, has plenty of room for BIG power supplies additions, and, full length boards. I put a 550W PS, in mine, and, newer, full length board, and, have plenty of room for a small 80mm fan , in the front of the case, and, lots of "elbow room" in the case's MAIN interior.
The cooling could use more vents, but, a 5/14" drive bay "chiller" would be an easy fix for that.
All in all, VERY impressed for the cost! Will buy more of these for future builds.

Ok for a cheap case
Reviewed by: JD
I just upgraded my main PC and bought this to hold my old motherboard so a friend can use it.
I'd say the power supply is over rated like most cheap ones and the leads are short and few. So I used an Antec 380 instead.
The case looks good but cheap.
You have to open both sides of the case to mount drives and it takes a screwdriver to get in. Definately old school. Most edges are rolled but there are still a few sharp edges so use caution.
The card slot openings are knock-outs and the metal is pretty light and bends easy.
The fan opening on the back is pretty restrictive and it would be better to cut it out and put in a wire grill. Air flow is ok as long as you don't put in parts that generate a lot of heat. I'm not sure there's enough air flow to cool the number of hard drives this case will hold unless you modify it.
The hard drive LED and speaker don't work on my case. The front faceplate comes off easy so getting at the parts to replace them is easy but the LED appears to be hotglued in... kinda low budget at any price.
If you need a cheapo case this will fit the bill but don't expect it to measure up against more expensive cases.

BAD POWER SUPPLY

THE CASE WAS GREAT BUT HAD A BAD POWER SUPPLY. AT THIS PRICE YOU CAN EXPECT THAT. POWER SUPPLIES ARE CHEAP THESE DAYS SO I UPGRADED AND ALL IS WELL - OU MAY WISH TO CONSIDERING BUY A BETTER POWER SUPPLY FOR THIS CASE. USING WITH AN AMD XP3000, DUAK WD 160 HD, DVD AND CD BURNERS, 1.5 OF 3200 RAM

Bad airflow
Reviewed by: kimballj
This is a very sturdy and well made case for the price, however the front USB ports are right in front of the front case fan, completely blocking any air flow. If there was a vent instead, this would be a perfect case. In order to keep my system cool, I have to leave either the front or side panel off. Very bad design in my opinion.

Great Value

Great case for the money, surprisingly sturdy. The steel inside is rolled so you wont cut yourself. Also the front metal brackets for the front drive bays are screwed in so you don't have to wrench them out.

Jim's Review

I was searching on Pricewatch.com for the cheapest price for a PC Chips M811LU motherboard, and ChiefValue had the best price by far and also offered free shipping. I ordered 2 boards, and was amazed at the speed in which they were delivered. Since that initial order, thanks to the advertisements via email, which are sent to me on a regular basis, I have saved a lot of money by ordering from them. I have been 100% satisfied with the delivery time and everything I have purchased from this company, and will continue to do business with them. I have also recommended them to my friends.

Great Case

I must say that we have used a lot of these cases, and they are built very well. Not that Cheap flimsy stuff that bends and scratches so easily. Like everyone else said, no front audio, but then again I never use front audio.

Roomy, Good 4 Price

This case is a great case for the value. decent psu, very roomy. 1 thing that disappointed me was that the front 2 lights were so dim, they're nothing like the pictures. Also front audio jacks wouldve been nice.

Nice case for the money. Can't beat it! Construction is much better than any low end case like Powmax. Plenty of room to put anything you need.

got it

Great case, yes, but I mentioned front sound connections. It does NOT have front panel sound connectors. It DOES have front panel USB. That's what comes form having 3 systems up on the table at once :-)
