Very Nice

This is an EXCELLENT keyboard. The curve and angle have helped reduce my carpal tunnel, although it's not 100% healed. The key layout is close to a standard keyboard. The only key out of place is the '6' key, which is positioned in the left-hand side. I'm 'old school' and was taught to strike the number six key with my right hand. You know - 1-5, left hand...6-0, right hand?
The palm rest is a soft, cushiony foam which is VERY comfortable. I read a few reviews where others complained about the 'Microsoft F-Key'. I'm not sure what they're referring to - this keyboard defaults to the F-keys funtioning without having to turn on the F-Key lock. This concerned me since I use the F keys a lot, but my worry was for naught.
The keyboard works well out of the box and the Web, Search & E-mail keys open your default web browser, the MS Search page and your default e-mail and the forward and back keys are handy for web browsing. All these work without installing the supplied drivers. I wanted to try the zoom feature and the favorite buttons, but installing the MS drivers mucked things up. The e-mail button defaulted to hotmail, which I no longer use. It's customizable, but the Search button defaulted to a search page on the web, which I can't stand. I want to search my computer. If I need to search the web, I'll 'google' it. LOL The zoom feature was not that great. The 'zoom' effect was jerky and it was either too small or too big. Do yourself a favor and DON'T install the drivers. One final note: the 'z' key and left-windows key are a tad too close. Cost me in gaming when zooming and accidently hitting the windows key. LOL But otherwise, EXCELLENT. Oh and ChiefValue had it to my house a day early. Yay!!!!

Fantastic keyboard

This is one awesome keyboard. I've used a MS Natural keyboard for 8yrs, still works. Got this keyboard for Christmas. The key layout is much better then the original Natural keyboards as the keys for your pinkies curve back up, making it easier to reach them. The palm-rest is covered in a foam/clothe type material, adding a really nice touch. The zoom key is very handy for working with photos to enlarge/reduce. The programmable buttons are nice, letting you setup any application you want to activate with a 1-touch solution, that isn't covered by one of the multimedia buttons that are already programmed. For the $, this is the Cadilac of keyboard.

Snap in the optional palm lift to experience the seven-degree reversed slope.
As you type, rest your wrists on the supportive, integrated palm rest. The palm rest makes typing for long intervals more comfortable.
Open a spreadsheet and move the Zoom Slider up and down to zoom in and out.
Save the spreadsheet and then assign it to a My Favorites Key by pressing and holding one of the five keys.
Close out of the spreadsheet, and then press the My Favorites Key you assigned it to, to quickly access it again.
