Bought 2. Installed one on a Windows XP and it worked automatically. No fuss, no drivers to install. Only have a SD card to test with. Installed the other on a 2.6.20 Gentoo Linux computer and it works great, no kernel recompile, it just finds the controllers and sets them up. Already had scsi emulation set up on the kernel so they nicely just mapped to sdX and can mount them from there.
